Who we are
An arch stands because each stone leans on the others. That is the idea behind our name, and how we want to lend.
Why ‘Solidarity’
A loan commits you for years. We believe it should be understood before it is signed, and remain affordable right up to the last repayment.
Our logo shows an arch of seven voussoirs. None stands alone: it is their mutual support that holds the whole. The middle stone, the keystone, locks everything in place. For us, that keystone is the careful review of your application.
In practice, that means a monthly repayment based on your real circumstances, a written offer you can reread, and a person you can ask questions.
Who reads your application
Your application passes through several hands, each with a clear role.
The case officer
Checks that your application is complete, contacts you if a document is missing and remains your point of contact until you sign.
The credit analyst
Looks at your income, outgoings and existing commitments to make sure the monthly repayment stays affordable.
A second pair of eyes
Before any offer is made, another person checks the analysis. A decision is never made by one person alone.
What we refuse to do
- Offer a loan with a monthly repayment higher than you can afford.
- Push you to borrow more than you asked for.
- Have you sign before you have read the offer.
- Ask for any payment before the money is released.
- Sell your data for marketing purposes.
How we work
- In writing
- Everything that matters (terms, decisions, refusals) is sent to you in writing.
- In your language
- Forms, letters and contracts are available in eleven languages.
- No surprises
- The total cost is shown on the offer. No fees appear afterwards.
- On record
- Every step of your application is dated and visible in your online account.
If something goes wrong
Write to us with your application reference and what the problem is. Your complaint is logged, handled by someone who did not process your application, and answered in writing.
If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can contact the dispute resolution body named in the legal notice, where one exists.
